Nigeria on Monday recorded 64 new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing the country’s total infections to 1,337, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
According to the NCDC in a tweet via its official handle, 34 of the new infections were recorded in Lagos,15 in FCT, 11 in Borno, 2 in Taraba and 2 in Gombe.
NCDC also said 255 coronavirus patients have been discharged so far with 40 deaths recorded.

Meanwhile, The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has ordered the enforcement of a total lockdown in Kano State for a period of two weeks with immediate effect.
