COVID-19 Lock Down Nigeria: How FG can Transfer Money to Poor Nigerian Household - Get FG Grant Now

The Federal government is making effort to transfer cash to poorest household, according to Sadiya Farouk, minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development, says the ministry has commenced cash transfer to poorest households in the country to cushion effect of the coronavirus pandemic. 

But I have a question,

1. What measures or ways would the Federal government use to assign cash?
2. How would they draw out a statistics of poorest people in Nigeria ?
3. Do the Federal Government have a database of poorest people in Nigeria?
4. Who are the poorest citizen ?
5. How would you classify and categories a poor person ?

The system we operate shows, we have no plan for this pandemic outbreak, it has revealed we stuck our economy on foreign affairs than national interest..

We have received a whole lot of contribution and donations from reckoned Nigerians elites and citizens who is seeking all measures to curb the coronavirus in Nigeria. 

But the honest fact is that with this lock down procedure to shut down every activity how would the masses survive when the circulation of funds are limited to the rich, other countries are giving grants to their citizens , What is Nigerian government given its citizens ?

We say we are developing nation but yet we haven't coordinated ourselves as one and build our economy as China did even when we are not faced with natural disasters like other nations who are still better than us that we should be better than.

HOW FG CAN TRANSFER MONEY TO POOR NIGERIAN HOUSEHOLD.

Any citizen Bellow 30,000 naira in his account should be considered to be given grant as the lock down continues.

• Allocation of such grant to individual houses should be done in conjunction with the CBN (central bank of Nigeria) who are entitled to Every individuals account as BVN is concerned.
• The Central bank should work with all commercial Bank to discharge funds
• And with the Advent of technology that has made transfer very easy.

“In Mr. President’s speech, paragraph 54, he directed that the conditional cash transfer should be given in advance of two months. 

What is delaying the Federal Government ?
