Former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba, has offered to teach Journalism at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) Abeokuta.
Osoba said he would lecture at the Department of Mass Communication to inculcate discipline and ethics of the profession in upcoming journalists.
Speaking at an event to commemorate 160 years of journalism in Nigeria, held in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Monday, Osoba said he is ready to teach the younger ones aspiring to join the pen profession.
Meanwhile, management and staff of MAPOLY said they are delighted that a veteran like Osoba is willing to contribute to the success story of the prestigious polytechnic, which they said has produced many professionals in the industry across Nigeria.
The Rector of the polytechnic, Waheed Odedina said the MAPOLY community would be eager to have Osoba in class.
