The presidency has finally broken its silence on the alleged rift between President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

It will be recalled that over the past few weeks, there have been insinuations of a rift between the President and the Vice President including claims that President Buhari was trying to undermine Vice President Osinbajo’s office.

2. Kogi Guber: INEC Reacts As court Orders Inclusion Of SDP Candidate, Natasha Akpoti
The Independent National Electoral Commission, on Friday, revealed that it will obey court judgement ordering it to include the governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party, Natasha Akpoti, in the ballot for Kogi State governorship election.

Mr Festus Okoye, INEC National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, revealed this development while speaking with NAN.

3. HURIWA Attacks President Buhari Over Border Closure
President Muhammadu Buhari has come under attack over the closure of Nigeria borders, the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, on Friday, described the action of the President as gross insensitivity.

The group described the closure of the borders as a political gimmick to economically strangulate the South East region of the country where the majority of Nigerian businesses located within the West African sub-region come from.

Following the refusal of Department of State Services (DSS) to release Omoyele Sowore, convener of the #RevolutionNow Movement, Femi Falana, a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has vowed that legal measures will be taken against the Service.

On Wednessday, a federal high court in Abuja had ordered the release of Sowore alongside Olawale Adebayo better known as “Mandate”, however the DSS has so far refused to obey the order.

Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will today, Friday depart the shores of Nigeria for Niger Republic.

Chief Ozekhome said this in direct reaction to the reported sack of over 30 presidential aides attached to Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.

10. AFCON: Super Eagles Camp Opens On Sunday
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Sunday open its camp ahead of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic on November 13.
