Some days after the outcry by several Nigerians on the Deep Offshore and Inland Basin Production Sharing Contract Amendment Bill signed into law in London, President Muhammadu Buhari has allegedly taken another shocking action on the office of the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

Alabi in his view on the situation stated that in a presidential system of government which is practised in Nigeria, the office of the Chief of Staff is more powerful than that of the Vice President.

Police Man Dies As Burning Building Collapses In Lagos
A policeman has died following the collapse of the front section of the six-storey building which was gutted by fire on Tuesday in Lagos State. The building which collapsed around 8:30pm yesterday, is located at 43 Martins street, Lagos Island.

Court Overrules Sowore, Co-Defendant’s Request For Adjournment
The plea to adjourn the trial on charges of treasonable felony against the convener of #revolutionnow movement, Omoyele Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare, has been overruled by the Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Human rights activist, Femi Falana, and Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika (SAN) had pleaded on behalf of the duo for adjournment on the grounds that the Department of State Services has denied them access to the defendants in the custody.
